Job Description:

Responsible for all maintenance activities, including equipment safety, maximizing machine productivity and uptime, as well as the condition and upkeep of the facility. Participate in preventive & predictive maintenance/process reliability effort. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment (both mechanical and electrical systems) Diagnosis and repair of equipment and facility malfunctions and faults Use technical expertise to identify solutions to equipment related problems and improvement opportunities Assist Production personnel with non-routine problems with the operation of equipment. Work in conjunction with Project Engineers to provide support for capital improvement projects as necessary. Work closely with ISO Coordinator and standards bodies (e.g. ISO-9001, ISO-14001) to ensure continuous compliance with ISO standards and requirements. | Requirements: |
Bachelor's degree preferred or 5 years experience in a combination of at least two of the following: Plant Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Equipment Manufacturing. 3-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. 1-2 years of demonstrated hands on experience and working knowledge with each of the following: Industrial Mechanical Systems and Controls, Industrial Electrical Systems and Controls, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. History of meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must have demonstrated communication skills and be able to prioritize complex tasks and problem solve. Computer literate - Experience in Microsoft Office products: Excel and Word a must. Flexible schedule to provide coverage for all shifts as necessary. |
